How ToIf you decide to do your own search engine optimization and marketing, then one aspect of it is link building. First of all, you'll definitely want to submit your site to the search engines. If you haven't done that, please do that first. Then, some of the link building techniques SEO specialists use may also include directory submissions, article submissions, and social bookmarking. You can either submit to each directory manually and individually, use a directory submission service, or use a directory submission software. I found three companies interesting. Two are services (they do the submission work for you) and the thrid is a sofware you can purchase. You may want to search for more companies on your own. Just go to Google and do a search for manual directory submission service or directory submission software. Manual Submissions: This would require you submitting to directories one directory at a time. Some suggest that manual sumissions, although time consuming, is still the best way to go! Best Web Directories Service: The first is a service and it came recommended. I was told that they did quality work. Their website is... Best-Web-Directories.com. I am recommending them because they came recommended to me. They can save you the tedious time of doing it yourself. This company offers a lot of great information! Just go to their site and check out the links in their right side menu. WL Marketing Service: I am referencing you to a second company based on these factors... WLMarketing.com, appears to be a little bit cheaper in cost, plus they offer an article submission service which includes the option of having them write articles for you! I saw that best-web-directories.com offers the article submission service for articles written by you, but WLMarketing offers this service plus displays the additional feature of having them write articles for you. Also, when I contacted the two companies, WLMarketing was the quicker of the two companies to respond to my emails, and they were liberal and speedy with answering question and explaining services. I have not yet tried either services, so please do your own research. SubmitEaze Software: I was doing research on the web about directory submission services and directory submission software. In my search for "software," two companies kept alternating for #1 ranking in Googles organic search results. SubmitEaze was one of them. To be honest, what I didn't like about the other company was two fold. First, I had trouble figuring out their website. I just didn't get it. It was complicated and seemed evasive about their costs. I just wanted to know the price, but couln't find it. anywhere on their site. Finally I saw the answer,... I would have to download a trial version of their software and only then, could i find out the actual price. First download, then see the price? Nah. Not me, I'm careful as to what I download onto my system. I did some more research and discovered that they had what looked like a per submission fee. It appeared that the system was based on buying credits or something like that. So on to SubmitEaze. I discovered this forum thread about SubmitEaze. Please note that the thread dates back to 2005 with the creator announcing his new software. I liked that the reviews were candid and real. Click on this link to do-it-yourself using SubmitEaze. What I like about SubmitEaze is that it allows you to submit both to directories & to submit articles. Some of the systems I checked out allowed you to submit to directories only. It appears to receive good reviews and to be an affordable tool. WebSEO.com - appears to receive good reviews as a SEO tool (download free edition). Sliq Submitter - is free & it submits to 2000 directories - consider adding 10-20 links a day. The program rotates the titles for the submissions so less chance of google thinking you're spamming. OneWayTextLink.com - is another directory submitter & has a lot of sites but Sliq is reportedly faster. SubmiteMNow.com - appears to have a Firefox extension & you can build your own database of directories to submit to as well as there supplied list. Seozar.com - is reportedly good for 3 way linking with invisible code.
