Let the Search Engines Know You are Open for Business

I compare submitting your site to the search engines as to a brick and mortar store having a business sign on their doors and being listed in the phone directory. If you are not visible to the customer, who will find you?

How to Submit Your Site to the Search Engines

Think of Google or Yahoo in the way that you would think of a phone directory. You need to be listed to be found. The good news is that Google, Yahoo, MSN, and many others... are free to submit your site to! "Work" your business. Submitting is easy! Do a search and find places to submit your site. Remember, the "address bar" of your Internet browser is the direct way to access a website. The "search bar" is a way to look up a site much in the way that you can look up a business in your local yeallow pages. Submitting your site to search engines and directories is very important to being found by your customers. That way, if your friend or family member accidently puts your web site address in the "search bar" instead to the "address bar," your site will still show up! Here are a few links. Happy submitting!

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not submit to the same search engines more than once within a 60 day period. If you do, the search engines may see you as spamming them. If you use more than one system for submitting your website, please pay attention and document which sites you have submitted to and on what dates.

Now Here Is Where The Fun Of Working From Home Begins...

In the often heard phrase, "Work From Home," I have found that the "From Home" part of the phrase easily catchs one's attention, but often the "Work" part of the phrase get's all too easily minimized. "Work" is the key to building and maintaining any business, whether your bosses business or your own! Now, if one works at a grocery store, they get to work and do the same repetitive motions over and over. They scan products, take the customers cash, maybe help bag the items, then repeat to the next customer in line, "Hello, how are you today?" A trash collector does the same thing over and over at each house. An Internet marketer does the same thing over and over in their work day as well. The repetitive process is easily learned, there is not secret nugget which only special people possess. It's just doing it! The other option is to hire a marketing firm to do it for you.

So, what are some of the repetitive actions which successful Internet marketers do?
