Name Branding Your Store
This is your business and you'll want to create your own unique business identity. This can be done through your own unique domain name, logo, and website content.
Choosing your domain name - It is possible for you to register your own domain names, and to link those domains to your account. If you are looking to register a domain name, we recommend the services of kingsdomains.com where most domain names can be registered for around $8.95 a year. This way you can have your own personal identity such as 123books.com or similar. If using kingsdomains.com, use their TOTAL-DNS feature (Not Domain Name Forwarding) and point your A-Record to 66.232.99.163 - then just link your URL below and you are done! Instructions below.
Here is how to register your own domain name...
1.) Go to (copy & paste into an Internet browser)... KingsDomains.com
2.) Do a search for the name you want
3.) Scroll down and click "Continue"
4.) Register your new domain name.
Setting up your store's url - Changing your settings is a TWO step process:
Step #1:
If you purchased your domain name from KingsDomains ~ log into your KingsDomains.com account.1.) In the left menu ~ click on "Domains." 2.) Click on your domain name3.) Click on "Total DNS Control and MX Records." 4.) Under "A (Host)" ~ click on the pencil under the "Actions" category. 5.) The "Host Name" should remain: @6.) The "Points to Ip Address" box should be changed to: 66.232.99.1637.) The "TTL" should remain at: 1 hour8.) Click "OK".
Step #2:
1.) Log into your bookstore's admin site.
2.) In the left menu ~ click on "Store Settings"
3.) Click on "URL's and Web Addresses"
4.) Add your url and click update.
You're done!
