Excellent Book for Business People & Others!  Mar 3, 2010
Professionally written with tips that are sure to help new business owners or people who have been in business for years. Some of the sections also offer wonderful tips that people in other fields could use to great advantage.
Section 10 particularly offers much needed advice to promoting other items. As an author, I learned a great deal from this book and will certainly recommend it to others.

Comprehensive, Comprehendible and Compendious!  Mar 2, 2010
As the title of this appraisal indicts, Mr. Williams's fine effort on small business is brimming with pertinent facts that apply to the business world, facts that are not hidden within a long drawn out complexity. Actually, one of the distinct advantages of this volume is that it contains what you need to know, and all that you'll need to do, period. The perfect reference book for anyone who is serious about inaugurating a business, or striving to market their business to as broad a base as humanly possible, and within a set budget. Mr. Williams has covered all of the avenues of succeeding in business, including "old school" advise, which nowadays is almost forgotten and quite refreshing, as this reader appreciates making money the old fashioned way. No need to search through the enormous selection of books that are available on this subject in an effort to ferret out the good one/s. No need to pay someone a good deal of money for such information. You may stop your search, spend $15.00 to obtain this admirable council, and then work hard to achieve your business goals. This exceptional effort is the only book you will need to accomplish the above mentioned tasks. It is user friendly and more importantly, the advise is sound. I could not be more pleased. Moreover, I look forward to the future volumes in this series.

Powerful tips for small business owners  Mar 2, 2010
This book is a great find for any small business owner. The tips, if used and acted upon, can catapult a business to success in no time! I love tip #43 and know that this has improved many businesses who use it. Great set of tips for anyone who is serious about marketing their business.

there really are 101 tips (and they're good)  Mar 1, 2010
I like small books. If you want to give me advice, I prefer it without any fluff.
And this book fits the bill perfectly. There really are a lot of tips, and they're all down to earth, easy, and anyone can do them.

I really liked it.

Any businessperson could use this book  Feb 28, 2010
This book is a really great, thorough primer on business and marketing strategies that I think pretty much any businessperson would benefit from reading. The book is extremely thorough, and covers a wide range of material on topics such as financing, advertising, networking, etc. The advice is extremely practical, and it's possible that you could literally earn money off of every single one of the 101 tips explained in the book.

One quick warning though: the ideas presented in this book are powerful, but they're also very simple. If you're the kind of person who likes things to be complicated, you'll probably hate this book. Every tip in the book gets a simple one-page description, and then the author leaves it up to you to get out there and apply the concept yourself. Personally I found this approach invaluable, because I hate having to wade through tons of filler in order to get a few nuggets of advice. In this book however, it's organized so that there's one nugget per page, no more, no less. I liked this format a lot, because it lets me use the book as a point-by-point business checklist, and I can just open the book up to any page at random and instantly have something to work on.

I think this book would be both a great primer for people who are new to business and a great refresher for more experienced veterans, and I would feel comfortable recommnding it to pretty much anyone who is looking for new ideas to promote their business.
