Product Description Wouldn't you rather make more money, enjoy life more, and get more done? Walt Disney created cartoons, animated features and feature films, and his most successful venture was the creation of Disneyland, followed by Walt Disney World. This book, by a Disney outsider, is an independent examination of Disney's most powerful success secrets. It focuses on how Disney was able to create the first theme park and achieve financial success, and on the Disney company's amazing management techniques. Whether you use these methods at home or in your business, you will refer to this book again and again. Disneyland and Walt Disney World may be the best run businesses in the world, highly regarded for customer satisfaction and so successful they fund the shortfalls of the Disney studio and broadcast ventures. In this book a Disney "outsider" examines the Disney theme park business and reveals success secrets that everyone can use.

Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Not a Disney Book Feb 8, 2009 |
| This is not a bad book, but it is not a Disney book. The author takes his love of Disney and applies his own "make a list" philosophy of business success. He does not show how Disney became a success. I found this to be a run-of-the mill "positive thinking" book. It basically says, make a list of what you want to accomplish and that will get you there. Nowhere in the books about Walt or Roy that I have read have I seen any mention of them making lists and then visualizing their way to success. I would skip this one for a better Disney book. | | | | No where near as good as the other Disney business books Dec 1, 2007 |
| For $20.00, just the size of the book is disappointing. Barely 100 pages of content, I find the content to be insubstantial, especially compared to all of the other Disney business books that were available. This one seemed to be written by a "wanna be" author expert of Disney. I found nothing compelling or noteworthy in this authors book. | | | | Making your business fun. Jul 22, 2004 |
| Rich Hamilton's book Disney Magic, Business Strategy You Can Use At Work and At Home, is a refreshing look at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. The first time I read the book I outlined it because I felt there were so many areas that I could improve my professional and personal approach to things. What a wonderful surprise to hear he gives lectures to supplement the book and he has an internet site to enjoy once you've read the book. Although its a business book, it reads like Disney fun. One thing is for certain, Rich really pays attention to how the Parks are run. Buy his book and capture his thoughts for yourself. | | | | How to make "raving fans" of your business Apr 17, 2004 |
Much has been written about the "raving fans" concept for business. Rich Hamilton's book, Disney Magic, shows you how - step by step - with one of the great models of the world. Everybody knows Disneyland and Disney World are "the" places to make you happy, make you smile, and to entertain you - regardless of age. How they do it is the secret we all need to know. Rich has delved into every corner - out front and behind the scenes - even Disney's trash cans. The result is a vastly entertaining book that delivers one gem after another to help you establish your own claim on the coveted testimonial we all want to hear - that of, "I just love doing business with those people. They always go beyond the call of duty." Get a copy of this book. I use it as my model to help gain new customers. It works. | | | | Rich Hamilton 'walks the talk' with a Magical business guide Mar 8, 2004 |
| Firstly, this book is about Disney Magic. That is true, and we'll get to the content shortly. What sets this book aside from a lot of others is that the Author himself actually believes and uses his own advice, which makes the information even easier to read and digest than many other business strategy guides. Th information inside is simple: How to build a better business using principles based on careful observation of the Disney way of doing things. And it works. The actual information is very valuable, and will surprise and delight you with it's insightful backstage glimpses. it contains solid grounding for building a successful and profitable business that attracts customers again and again. It is also an excellent read, and one which I would recommend for fans of anything Disney, as there are plenty of fun facts and secrets, some known already and some that will mke you say "I never knew that !" You will find yourself re-reading this book for the entertainment value as WELL as the business information. There are two other books due for release by Rich Hamilton related to this one: Internet Business Magic, and the Disney Magic Ideabook, and I would advise all of you to keep an eye on these as well. | | | Write your own review about Disney Magic: Business Strategy You Can Use at Work and at Home
