| I had been involved with my daughter's Girl Scout Troop for several years. We recently took the "suburban" tweens on a camping trip. We found that our girls needed more experience with the camping experience. This DVD was hilarious. I bought several copies for the other mothers who accompanied me during our week of camping. | Campy and cliche. Shelly Long at her best. Supported by a cast of "characters" (Craig T Nelson, Betty Thomas, Mary Gross, Tori Spelling [ugh], Shelley Morrison) and chock full of cameos (Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, Cheech Marin, Ted McGinley, Joyce Brothers, Robin Leach, Pia Zadora). This tale underscores the need for communication, self esteem and understanding of different perspectives. How does a poor kid survive in the jungle of Beverly Hills when she seems/is/acts more mature than her parents? Quite well actually. Most fun segment is "Cookie Time."
