Highly Recommended for Changing How We Perceive and Aquire Wealth  Nov 5, 2009
I'm new to the works of Steve Chandler. I own the hardcover and audio version of "100 Ways to Create Wealth" and I'm glad I do. I was surprized to find within the contents so many clarificationsfor what I thought I already knew. Steve has a very down to earth way of explaining how to create wealth by simply doing the next right thing. Yes, it may be common sense for most, but just because it is common does not necessarily mean people do it. The open hand approach would have many an entrepreneur or corporate executive running for cover. I found myself laughing several times while reading as I recalled working for the largest computer manufacturer in the world(at that time) and how many times we lost sales because we were unwilling to do many of these very simple, common sense things. When ego, pride, and testosterone are driving a deal to win/win, someone always ends up losing. I found, as I read, I felt good about myself, my business ethics, and my desire to help others. Some have referred to this text as the new "Think and Grow Rich". I must agree. Relax and read the book and let the contents shift your thinking. You will find that you are creating wealth, having more fun, and truly enjoying life.

"9 lies that are holding your business back" is much better  Oct 23, 2009
I enjoyed the authors previous co-work "9 lies that are holding your business back". This one really didnt click. It's inferior to any work or co-work of either author I had read. There's no chemistry nor synergy at all. I strongly suggest you to pick the one mentioned above and Chandler's "100 ways to motivate yourself" instead of this. They will give you a much higher return on your time and book price.

Fact Checking Might Help  Mar 27, 2009
I found some of the collection of tips on creating wealth useful. One problem I had with book however was the fact that the authors didn't seem to check their facts in some of the examples given to illustrate an idea. For example, the Japanese figurine, the Maneki Neko (Beckoning Cat) was referred to but was sited as being Chinese and found in "Chinese" restaurants all over the country and the world. The figurine is Japanese and closely related to Japanese cultural and religious beliefs. The fact that the author(s)didn't seem to be able to tell the difference demonstrated a lack of sophistication and also left me suspicious of the other anecdotes and allegories that followed. The fact could have easiler been researched online or at the library or bookstore. One other point is the misinterpretation of Biblical verses regarding prophesies followed by sarcasm about the prophets being wrong. In that specific instance, the author(s) misinterpreted the passages due to ignorance of historical and cultural context. By the way, it's not a great idea to offend readers on religious grounds, especially since insulting others' beliefs contradicts other advice given in the book.

Very Useful Book!  Feb 7, 2009
I've personally read over 175 books "specifically" on Wealth Creation/Personal Finance, business etc.

This Book, with its 100 Ways, each way is a great addition to add to your overall plan, to achieve wealth!

Some will perceive this as priceless & some as useless.  Dec 28, 2008
There is definitely some good advice to be taken from this book. At times I felt it was just salesperson pep rally jargon along the lines of "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" (which I found completely useless). Overall I would recommend it.
